onDesk ("onDesk", "we", "us", or "our") provides career education programmes for students seeking to break into Fixed Income, Currencies and Commodities (FICC) sales and trading roles. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information when you visit our website, enrol in a programme, or use our student dashboard.

onDesk currently operates as an individual venture rather than through a registered company. References to "we" or "onDesk" throughout this policy refer to the individual(s) operating the onDesk platform.

2. What information we collect

We collect the following categories of information:

• Contact details you provide when enquiring, enrolling, or messaging us - such as your name, email address, school or university, and target career or industry.
• Account information when you set up access to the student dashboard, including your email address and a securely hashed password (we never store your password in readable form).
• Programme progress, including which modules you have marked as complete and your overall completion percentage. This is stored locally in your browser and is not transmitted to or stored on any onDesk server.
• Payment-related information you choose to share with us when confirming a purchase, such as your name and which programme you have paid for. We do not collect or store card numbers, bank details, or other sensitive payment credentials - these are handled directly by our payment provider(s).
• Communications you send us via WhatsApp, email, or our enquiry form, including any information you choose to include in those messages.
• Technical information automatically generated by your browser, such as general device and browser type, used only to ensure the website displays correctly.

3. How we use your information

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide access to the programme you have purchased and track your progress through it;
• Communicate with you about your enrolment, programme content, or sessions you have booked;
• Respond to enquiries you submit via WhatsApp, email, or the enquiry form;
• Improve the content and structure of our programmes based on aggregate, anonymised usage patterns;
• Comply with our legal and regulatory obligations.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for marketing purposes.

4. Payment information

At present, payments for onDesk programmes are processed via Revolut, with WhatsApp used to confirm your name, email, and chosen programme so that we can activate your dashboard access. We do not see or store your card details, bank account number, or other payment credentials at any point in this process - these are handled entirely within Revolut's own secure systems, governed by Revolut's own privacy policy.

We intend to move to a dedicated payment processor (such as Stripe) in the near future. When we do, this policy will be updated to reflect that change, and the same principle will apply: we do not store your card or bank details ourselves.

5. The AI Interview Coach

If you are an enrolled student, your dashboard includes access to an AI-powered FICC Interview Coach. When you use this feature, the questions and messages you type are sent to Anthropic's Claude API in order to generate a response. We do not attach your name, email, or account details to these messages before sending them.

We recommend you avoid including sensitive personal information in your messages to the AI Coach, as you would with any AI tool. Please refer to Anthropic's Privacy Policy for details on how Anthropic processes data submitted to its API.

6. How long we keep your data

We retain your contact and enrolment information for as long as is reasonably necessary to provide you with access to your programme and to respond to any related queries, and for a reasonable period afterwards to comply with our legal and accounting obligations. Module progress data stored in your browser remains on your device until you clear your browser's local storage or until you ask us to do so.

If you would like your information deleted sooner, please contact us using the details below and we will action this within a reasonable timeframe.

7. Sharing your information

We do not share your personal information with third parties except where necessary to operate the service you have requested (for example, our payment provider processing your payment, or Anthropic processing AI Coach messages as described above), or where we are required to do so by law.

8. Your rights

If you are based in the UK or EU, you have rights under data protection law including the right to access the personal data we hold about you, the right to ask us to correct or delete it, and the right to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details below.

9. Cookies and local storage

onDesk does not use tracking cookies or third-party advertising trackers. We use your browser's local storage to keep you logged in and to save your module progress on your own device. This information stays on your device and is not transmitted to us unless you are using the admin dashboard to view aggregate, non-identifying analytics.

10. Children's privacy

Our onDesk Head Start programme is designed for sixth form students, some of whom may be under 18. Where a student is under 18, we expect a parent or guardian to be involved in the enrolment and payment process. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13, and our services are not directed at children under that age.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or for legal reasons. The date at the top of this page indicates when it was last revised. We encourage you to review this page periodically.

1. Agreement to these terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the onDesk website, programmes, and student dashboard (together, the "Service"). By enrolling in a programme, creating a dashboard account, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. Our programmes

onDesk provides digital career education content related to breaking into FICC (Fixed Income, Currencies and Commodities) sales and trading roles, including but not limited to module materials, coaching calls, mock interviews, and an AI-powered interview practice tool. The specific content and sessions included depend on which programme tier you have purchased (Core, Premium, Elite, or Head Start), as described on our Pricing page at the time of your purchase.

3. Enrolment and payment

To enrol in a paid programme, you will be directed to complete payment via our designated payment provider and to confirm your enrolment details with us directly (currently via WhatsApp, while we transition to an automated payment system). Access to your student dashboard will typically be activated within 24 hours of us confirming receipt of your payment and your enrolment details.

You are responsible for providing accurate contact information. We are not responsible for delays in activating your access caused by incomplete or incorrect information provided at enrolment.

4. No refund policy

Given the nature of digital content, we do not offer refunds once dashboard access has been granted, except where required by applicable consumer law. If you have any concerns about whether a programme is right for you, we encourage you to contact us before purchasing - we are happy to answer questions or discuss your situation via WhatsApp or a free 15-minute call.

If you believe you are entitled to a refund or remedy under applicable consumer protection law, please contact us and we will consider your request in line with our legal obligations.

5. Access to materials

All paid programmes include lifetime access to programme materials and any future updates to those materials, for as long as the onDesk Service continues to operate. Access is granted for your personal, individual use only and may not be shared, resold, or distributed to any other person.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access for any account found to be in breach of these Terms, including unauthorised sharing of login credentials or programme materials.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Share your dashboard login credentials with any other person;
• Copy, reproduce, distribute, or resell any programme materials without our prior written consent;
• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in a way that could damage, disable, or impair the Service;
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Service, including other students' accounts or admin functions.

7. The AI Interview Coach

The AI Interview Coach is provided as a practice and learning tool. While we aim for it to be helpful and accurate, responses are generated by an AI system and may occasionally be incomplete, generic, or contain errors. The AI Interview Coach does not constitute professional, financial, or career advice, and should not be relied upon as the sole basis for any decision. We are not liable for any inaccuracy in AI-generated content.

8. No guarantee of outcome

onDesk provides educational content and coaching designed to improve your knowledge of FICC sales and trading recruitment and your readiness for the application process. We do not guarantee that completing any onDesk programme will result in a job offer, internship, interview, or any other specific outcome. Statistics referenced on our website (such as success rates or numbers of students placed) reflect past results reported to us and are not a guarantee of future results for any individual student.

9. Intellectual property

All programme materials, including module PDFs, frameworks, templates, scripts, and the onDesk brand and website, are the intellectual property of onDesk and may not be reproduced, distributed, or used for any commercial purpose without our prior written permission.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, onDesk shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to loss of opportunity, loss of income, or any career outcome. Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms or the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid for the relevant programme.

Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes our liability for matters which cannot lawfully be limited or excluded under applicable law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The date at the top of this page indicates when they were last revised. Continued use of the Service after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
